Abstract: This book is about Little Metacomet, the son of the Indian King Phillip. The book attempts to describe what the lives of both Native American and pioneer boys would have been like in the 1600's. Once Phillip and the colonists become enemies, war is waged and Phillip loses. Little Metacomet is deported to the Palm Islands with his mother and never sees his friend again.
